Benjamin Lanzinger named Erste Bank Eishockey Liga Young Star for February Lanzinger started the season at Villach's partner club EK Die Zeller Eisbären in the Alps Hockey League, gaining 31 points in 31 games. The forward was part of Austria's U20 national team, which clinched a spot for the upcoming world championship top division. In early January the Villach native made his season debut for VSV, playing 14 games until the end of the season. On February 11, he scored one goal in Villach's 5:2 home win against Fehérvár. Five days later he added one assist in the home game against Linz.
